I LOVE digi stamps !!
Hurray for Digi stamps...Love them, do you ? I was so happy to see the new releases over at The Greetings Farm, formally Pink Poison. Dont get me wrong i still love rubber stamps but digi stamps are just as versatile, great to resize and as i've discovered Promarkers dont bleed the printers ink...yay. I'm having issues with Versafine and my pens at the mo so if you can recommend an alternative ink to stamp with that dos'nt bleed when you colour with Promarkers that would be great.
So this digi stamp is Dorothy...sooooo cute !! Coloured with my Promarkers and a tiny bit of stickles to make her shoes sparkle. Paper is PinkPetticoat 'Tis the season' download and i used my good old Martha Stewart doily lace edge punch AGAIN, lol, i really need more border punches !
I think because the image and paper are so bold i did'nt feel the card could take too much detail so just added a few accents to the pattern of the paper with pearls and gems for a bit of bling.
There are more digi designs in the pipeline , if you go here you see whats in store !!
Well i may not be able to post much this week, i've one or two things to catch up on but i'll still hopefully have time to do a little blog hopping and see what you're up to. Enjoy whats left of the weekend...take care xx

ReplyDeleteHi Katy
ReplyDeleteLove this little image, i have also in the last week found digital images over at Dotties world, I have also had promarkers for christmas and am finding the ink bleeds i have been using stazon and versafine but both bleed.
After blog surfing though last night I read about a lady using an ink called 'muse' think it comes from America will have to go and check out the site again now.
Hope this helps if you do find anything in the mean time please could you post on your blog to update me.
Many thanks
Tracy

ReplyDeleteI finally found an ink that doesn't bleed with PMs, as long as you leave the image to dry for a little while. Of all things it's just HobbyCraft basic pigment black ink - if you don't have a store nearby let me know and I'll get some for you?! xx

Hi Katy, well what a busy bee you've been lately! I love this digi stamp too, so cute! Have you tried using Staz On ink? I always use it as it doesn't bleed with Distress Inks and give a crisp stamped image. Just a thought x
