This has to be my favourite stamp...sure i've told you this before, and it always calls to be paper pieced, my fav technique

Fiskars border punch...the light reflected on one end on the pic..it's not a finger mark, lol.
The flowers i made myself using a quilling tool...thanks Michelle for showing me how to make these today :)

So there might not be much happening here this week but that dos'nt mean to say i wont be visiting to see what gorgeous cards you're all creating.
I've had yet another clear out of stamps this week...some of them quite recent..i'm terrible for using a stamp just a few times then wanting something new again...think i need help, lol. Wow, what a gorgeous card and I agree with you, this is an adorable stamp and looks great with the paper piecing. I remember my daughter being a teenager and can understand fully what you are going through - it does get better eventually!!

This is lovely Katy and your flowers are gorgeous. I'm exactly the same with stamps - there's less guilt when I used the funds from selling some to buy new ones!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Chuck!.....I know all about troublesome teens.....never mind things will get better once he is past 21 lol!seriously someone once told me when my kids were young that 14 to 21 was the worst time and things will get better after that and I found it was quite true!X

Sorry to hear you are having a rough time of it just now. I have teenagers myself, and am still having a rough time with my eldest. Its very hard work and at times very upsetting, but im sure you will work your way through things. Thinking of you and sending a big hug Linda x

I love your card, I can see why you like that stamp a lot, it's super cute (and beautifully coloured as always). I love those little flowers, are they easy to make? Aw, Katy I hope your teen grows out of this phase quickly! I have yet to get to "that place" (my eldest is 10 in September) and am SO dreading it. Glad you had a chance to get a time-out for yourself.
