Hey where's my post gone ?

Ok my last post has disappeared into cyber space !! So here i go again .....

I was tagged last week by Kathleen, you have to list 7 facts about yourself so here goes....

1.My christened name is Katherine but only my Nan who passed away years ago has ever called by that name.

2. I have mild OCD, which cause some amusement in the house at times. I have to always check the cooker is off before i go to bed, stand there twizzling the knobs for the hob, up and down a few times !! I also have to double check i've turned the GHD's off before i leave in a morning and can be literally heading out the door then run back upstairs !!! It seems to be worse when i'm stressed or very tired but i'm thankful i dont have it that bad compared to some poor people, it really can rule your life and be quite limiting.

3. I'm VERY ticklish !!

4.My favourite time of year is now when all the leaves are changing and the weather is cooler but not cold

5.In my teens i used to compete every week at disco dancing competitions all over the country, the whole sequin lycra thing,loved it till i was 16 and i discovered boy's were more interesting............for a while anyway.

6.My first job when i left school was at a Hairdresser's, went on to qualify but after i had my son never went back to it.

7.I have a scar next to my left eye where my Dad dropped me when i was a baby !!

Ok now i'm supposed to pass this on so i'm going to have a scout round, it could be youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu xx

A Little Something.......

For my Matey Tara she's always spoiling me!!! I really enjoyed making this wallet, The image is a High Hopes stamp, Tara kindly cut me some Nesties, the paper is BasicGrey and the cord and little bell from a Haberdashery oh and i used my Martha Stewart punch on this too xx

Halloween Dottie

Hi everyone, feeling a bit poorly today, sore throat and headache. Always seems to happen when the seasons change dont know why. So this card was a quickie, dont feel up to much cardmaking today. The image is a Halloween download available from Charmed cards and Crafts, its great because it comes coloured or not coloured so as i'm not feeling well i opted for the coloured, bit of a cheat !! The papers are a download too from Sweet Shoppe Designs, if you havnt checked their site it's a must!!! Hope you all have a lovely weekend and enjoy some sunshine xx

A little update on the kitties, managed to take this photo yesterday of this little sweetie!! All 5 are doing well and now can sit up but very wobbley.I think i'm going to find it very hard to part with any of them :( xx

I thought i'd have a go with a download i bought from Polly Craft Designs ( link at side) last week, they have some great downloads and really reasonably priced. I bought some triangle shaped cards from a craft fair recently, there dosnt seem to be many around this year? Paper is Laura Ashley,flower and scallop die-cut all; from Tara thank you so much for all the lovely goodies xx

Yet another stamp i LOVE !!

Well this stamp i was given to make samples with for a craft shop and i thoroughly enjoyed working with it.I love the cuteness of Whipper Snapper designs, may have to invest in this one! I coloured it using my trusty Prisma pencils and brushmarkers, paper is Doodlebug. Kept the layout quite simple so it's easy for customers to follow and that seemed to work as a few bought everything on here,one lady even took a pic with her phone so she had reference to work with which i thought was nice. Anyway hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying some sunny weather it's been glorious here in Yorkshire

Another of my new Panduro's

Had another little play with my new stamps this morning, this time the 'My Little Angel' collection. I used downloaded papers from Daisie Doodles and sentiment from Sassy crafts.Image paper pieced and decoupaged, coloured with a mixture of pens and prismas.xx

Oh It's A Hard Life!!

Couldnt resist taking this photo of Smokey, he's not been himself since Chester had her kittens. Now the weather's changing he's indoors a bit more, poor thing has Arthritus in one leg and damp weather makes his limp worse. So here he is catching 40 winks xx

Panduro Christmas

These Stamps arrived today from Panduro Hobby and i LOVE em!! The quality of the stamp itself is ace. So had a little play, just a quick card. Used the new Papermania felt ribbon and stamped the image on Concord card, coloured with Distress inks and Pro Markers.Really enjoyed using the Distress inks, was quite surprised how much because my watercolouring ability is pants!!

A couple of cards

well not much cardmaking been going on lately, sooooo busy but here are two that i've made over the last couple of weeks, the christmas card is very plain and simple,love this Precious moments stamp!! I spotted this punch on the Pinkpetticoat website!! Well i had to have one so after much searching and bidding i finally got one,it's a Martha Stewart doily lace punch from the states,quite a few on ebay if anyones interested.Love it!!

Chester's had kittens!!

It's been a while since i posted so thought i'd better update plus i now have my own pc!!!! yay,no more borrowing my parents,it's great. So last Wednesday my cat Chester had 5 kittens,we were beginning to worry as she was HUGE!! and she's quite a small kitty but she was fine,they just plopped out,4 white like her and 1 black kitten.So we now know the culprit!!! We wer'nt sure who the daddy was as she had 3 toms pursuing her at the time,at one point i was chasing her and a ginger tom around the cul-de-sac in my pj's at 11.30pm trying to get her in,god knows what the neighbours thought? So the black tom lives 3 doors up,might give them a knock in a few weeks to share the good news,lol.Mum and babies doing well,here are some pic's but spared you the birthing ones,lolxx
